For you, for me, for all of us.

We began with 6 chickens and an incubator. Our appreciation for our food sources grew and grew. On our journey we have learned a different way to see our place in the world. We know that many of you want the opportunity to see what it means to be a participant in nourishing your body and the community we live in. This is only a place to start. Your road to food and connections is all your own. See where it may take you.

Somewhere in La Mancha there's a place for you

Plants, feathers, fiber and friends. These are the happy parts of our day and we want to share them with you. Visit the animals, spend some time sitting with a tree stump or just listen to the sounds of life that get drowned out by all the white noise. Somewhere in La Mancha is a special meeting place for you to reconnect with old friends in nature and greet the new ones anxious to meet you. Bring your knowledge, take some home with you and find a place where food, nature and your spirit get to share the same space.

Meet the Animals

Our two-legged and four-legged teachers and co-workers

Here on our community farm, we all learn to take care of each other. Each one does their part to make the whole successful. The animals take care of us as much as we do of them. For us, food is not something on a store shelf, but a living connection that we get to nurture and that nurtures us.

The Birds

Over 100 feathered friends

All poultry and water fowl on our farm are Heritage Birds. Protein and mindfulness are their gifts to us.

The Alpacas

Healing animals

Learning to live in a respectful relationship with animals so new to our continent is the goal. Trust and respect is the foundation of our work here. Chinito, Carly Sue, Midnight, Pumpkin, Sophie and Twinkie are here to teach and receive patience, love and creativity.

The Family Cow

 Mini Jersey

The patience and selflessness of a cow can be overwhelming. Dulcinea has added family time, cheese, cream, milk and tons of goodies to our food supply. Cows are amazing!

Visit with Baby Chicks in October

Our family is working very hard to complete some major projects before winter arrives. Our new baby chicks are getting a bit wild without constant petting. You are invited to be their first human friends by handling them with love and respect. Sign up for a private time slot to hold these hoppy little balls of fluff and teach them that hands are always kind.  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D49ABA92FA6FBC25-farm

Man's Silhouette

Visit with baby goats in October

Zuca is our brand new baby doe. She arrived on Wednesday, the 30th of September but she did not receive a warm welcome from Quinn, the boss goat. We have moved her into the barn with Cortadito but her constant cries make him cranky and now he is bullying her quite a bit too. When we come in to spend time with them they both calm down. You are invited to play around with the two cutests little goats we have ever had. Sign up for your own time block to laugh and love on these two goofballs.
